Peacock Digital Media
web design, development and consulting
Greetings!
I’m John, a Vancouver-based freelancer who’s been building for the web since 2000. I design and develop WordPress websites that are fast, secure, and easy to edit. Let’s collaborate and bring your project to life!
Work
Real websites for real businesses — massage studios, hotels, furniture retailers, wholesalers and local services. Every project below was designed, built and launched by me, tailored to how each client actually works.
The Journey of Your Project
01
Discovery
We talk through your goals, your audience, and what your website needs to do
02
Design
I plan the structure and design a look that fits your brand — reviewed with you before anything is built.
03
Development
I build your site in WordPress: fast, mobile-friendly, and easy to edit yourself.
04
Review
You test everything on a private staging site. We refine until it's right.
05
Launch & Support
Your site goes live. I handle hosting, updates and support — and I'm a phone call away.
My Skills
Over 25 years in digital media — web, print and video — with a decade focused on WordPress development, e-commerce and SEO.
Services
01
Web design
Custom WordPress websites designed for your business — visually appealing, user-friendly, and beautiful on every screen size. I design mobile-first, making the most of small screens and using white space well on large ones.
Web development
From online stores with WooCommerce to custom features like live pricing feeds, booking tools and quote forms — I build the functionality your business needs. I also fix broken sites, display issues and page errors.
02
03
Consulting & Care
Domain registration, WordPress hosting, on-page SEO, and honest advice about what your website actually needs. Clear communication, quick, reliable responses, and support that doesn't disappear after launch.
